— Why it moved
Why GXAI Stock Nearly Doubled Today — June 2, 2026
An AWS funding announcement hit a 10M-share float before the bell, Gaxos.ai spiked from $1.19 to $2.32 in twenty minutes, and most of it was sold back by the close.

What moved GXAI stock
Gaxos.ai is a ~$12M AI micro-cap whose Gaxos Labs unit builds an AI sales-coaching platform. Amazon Web Services committed additional funding to that platform, built with AWS partner Caylent, and the CEO called it "a major validation event." A funding headline with Amazon's name in it, on a stock this size, was the entire story.
The mechanics
A 9.9M-share float met a headline it couldn't absorb. GXAI traded flat at $1.19 all premarket, then went vertical the minute the release crossed — no overnight gap, no setup.
GXAI by the numbers
The alert window
Stock Pulse flagged it at 8:16 AM premarket at $2.04. The top of the day, $2.32, printed at 8:31 — fifteen minutes later, 13.7% above the alert. A quarter-hour premarket pop was the whole trade.
How GXAI's move ended
It never traded above $2.17 in the regular session and closed at $1.37, 33% below the alert — holding from the alert to the close lost a third. AWS funding a partner-built platform is not revenue, and Gaxos had already asked shareholders to approve a reverse split and a bigger equity pool.
The tell: a vertical premarket spike off a flat tape burns out fast, and when the regular session can't retake the premarket high, everything after is distribution.
